I asked Topology to design and manage the renovation of 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a living room. The project was a total success and I’m in complete awe of how well everything turned out. The designs were beautiful and the team were a pleasure to work with.

The process itself is a very collaborative and fun experience. After providing your initial brief there’s a lot of room to tweak and iterate along the way, but having been through it all I would recommend taking your hands off the wheel as much as possible. There were some areas of the design that were somewhat outside my comfort zone but after much reassurance I went along with the recommendations and the final outcome really is stunning.

Highlights:
– There was a fairly significant and unavoidable last minute change of direction with the kitchen and Athina was super flexible and rapid in response to this in re-working the design
– The sheer amount of cost savings through haggling, discounts, and shopping around. I didn’t do the numbers on this but it feels like the service paid for itself
– The diligence and energy that I know went on behind the scenes to keep the whole project running smoothly, especially liaising with builders/trades
– The builders sourced for the project were excellent. Super high quality throughout

Finally, I’ll say I can’t recommend enough going for the full service. The biggest benefit apart from what’s been already mentioned was the amount of stress that was taken off my hands for this project.

Where do I begin with this glowing review?!

I used Topology’s e-design services for the renovation of my first-time flat purchase in East London. They did my kitchen, bathroom, living room and master bedroom for me. The whole experience was utterly perfect. I was apprehensive at first but decided to take the plunge and spend, based on what I had seen on their socials and all the other fantastic reviews. It’s not often I’d spend money like that and was nervous of what to expect but I shouldn’t have worried at all.

Chloe was my lead designer. From the moment I had began contacting them before my purchase had completed, the communication was spot on. Friendly, helpful, timely, just everything you’d want to make you feel comfortable about taking the plunge.

They were absolutely fantastic throughout and completely understood my style as well as bringing things to the table that I wouldn’t have thought of or appreciated if I did it all myself. I had a decent idea of what I wanted but had consumed so much Pinterest imagery in the run up, I had the hardest time arranging it into anything resembling a cohesive plan.

I had been worried that if I wasn’t 100% about a design, I wouldn’t have much leeway to change anything but that’s absolutely not the case. They tweak the concepts until you’re totally happy so there is no danger you’re ending up with a design you don’t like. However, I had very little tweaking to do after my first concept as Chloe had really nailed it from the off.

Each stage takes about as long as you’d expect it to, I didn’t need to chase anything up, Chloe was so on the ball and would pre-emptively email me if something was going to end up waiting over the weekend for example. You don’t often get this sort of pro-activity and it is hugely appreciated.

My designs are amazing and I can’t wait to implement them. I’m honestly quite obsessed with these guys now! What an absolutely fantastic team of women.
